Heather Spence graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2006 with an Honours Political Science degree and a Business Administration minor. Heather graduated Osgoode Hall Law School where she received a Juris Doctor in Law. While at Osgoode Hall, Heather was a recipient of the Student Honor Award from the Legal and Literary Society.
Heather articled in the criminal law field before being called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2010. Following this, she worked as an associate in a well-known boutique criminal law firm before becoming a Partner with Mass Tsang LLP. She practices exclusively in the area of criminal law and has handled cases involving drinking and driving, dangerous driving, drug trafficking and possession, fraud, assault and weapons offences.
